Woo hoo! Hot Damn! Yee haw!

Arlen Specter got kicked out. Rand Paul wins, and that woman from Arkansas with the vile name is forced into a run off. If she had completely lost it would have been an “A+” day. Instead it was an “A-” but add Senator Bennett’s loss, and we have a “A” month. Congressmen are resigning because they can either see the writing on the wall or they got caught in some  scandal.

Maybe just maybe the American people are serious about cleaning house in Washington. For this to happen though, they still need to understand the issues and not just throw the bums out. If that’s all they’ll do, then we’re going to get a new set of bums and the American people will think that democracy has worked and get back to their American Idol, Dancing With The Stars, or Survivor shows. Anyone who watches those shows shouldn’t even be allowed to vote, but I’m a dreamer. The reality is that idiots will continue to vote for creeps, criminals, and killers. That’s democracy.

But, just maybe we can wipe out the incumbents and scare our representatives to actually follow the Constitution. For that to happen, WE must know the Constitution as well. We must know that the bastards in Washington haven’t followed the Constitution in decades, especially beginning with Lincoln. We must understand the power grab by the executive branch and the judiciary and the irresponsibility of Congress. We must understand the role the Central Bank (The Federal Reserve System) has played in destroying our wealth. We must come to terms with the illegality and immorality of the Income Tax and end the IRS just as surely as we end the FED.

We need to know our history and the philosophy behind the work of the Founding Fathers. We need to learn about the history of Freedom and instill it in our hearts again. We need to love liberty more than our two parties, more than our pet ideologies, more than we hate our opponents. We must demand the same rights and freedoms for our political enemies at all times, not just during the peaceful and easy times.

If we could insist on freedom for all, a conservative evangelical Christian would have no fear of East and West Coast liberals imposing their views and lifestyles on him, nor would a commune of ex-hippies fear an imposed religion on it. When people forget freedom, when they look to the State for support, then others begin to fear other types of people and rightly so.

Statist conservatives and liberals have fought, insulted, and forced their ways on their opponents because they forgot what the American experiment was about. They want the State to force their views and ways onto all of society. This is NOT the American way. We know it or we ought to know it. The world knows it. The world sees the hypocrisy in America and in the US Government’s foreign policy.

We need to become radical Americans again, radical freedom lovers, radicals for liberty, even for those who oppose us. We need to love freedom more than we love democracy. And we must not forget any infringement of our freedoms by the government and hold anyone who attempts to take any liberties from us in contempt and prosecute them. Practically that means just about all of Washington. The legislative, executive, and judicial branches and all their branches, The state and local governments don’t get off the hook either. They have restricted us and stolen from us and we put up with it. NO MORE!

We must not only look to political means of retaining freedom. In fact, we must first focus on living free in our own lives, work on becoming independent, dependent on no one, and certainly not from the government. Personal freedom is fragile, especially if we are not economically free. If someone controls your income, your wealth, it’s easy to silence you and keep you in line.

So, while I’m delighted that Americans are throwing the bums out, it’s only a step. The important step is becoming free on your own without waiting for others to wake up. Throw the bums out, YES! But don’t trust the new set, they’re still politicians. Keep your eyes on them and keep them afraid. More importantly study liberty and work on freeing yourself in this unfree world.

Celebrate this small victory, but the r3volution has hardly begun.
