The Attack on Libertarians, Constitutionalists, Tea Partiers, And Now Confederates

“I saw in State Rights the only availing check upon the absolutism of the sovereign will, and secession filled me with hope, not as the destruction but as the redemption of Democracy. . .. Therefore I deemed that you were fighting the battles of our liberty, our progress, and our civilization; and I mourn for the stake which was lost at Richmond more deeply than I rejoice over that which was saved at Waterloo.” ~Lord Acton

Lord Acton (1834–1902)

The more I learn about libertarianism and American history, the more I have an appreciation of the Confederacy, and a distaste for Lincoln and what he did. I’m sure that’s surprising given the conventional wisdom most people have from our public propaganda mills (schools) and Hollywood. Does that mean I also have a new appreciation for slavery? Of course not. Slavery is the antithesis of libertarianism, as racism is the stupidest form of collectivism.

Ayn Rand (1905 - 1982) “The smallest minority on earth is the individual. Those who deny individual rights cannot claim to be defenders of minorities.”

“Racism is the lowest, most crudely primitive form of collectivism. It is the notion of ascribing moral, social or political significance to a man’s genetic lineage—the notion that a man’s intellectual and characterological traits are produced and transmitted by his internal body chemistry. Which means, in practice, that a man is to be judged, not by his own character and actions, but by the characters and actions of a collective of ancestors.” ~Ayn Rand

I’m not the only one who’s waking up to the lost heritage of the Confederates and the tragic consequences of Lincoln’s legacy. The South resisted Lincoln’s desire to transform the Federal Government’s into a National Government. It resisted the corporatism of the Whig and Republican parties. It fought for free trade and free markets. It believed in the Jeffersonian traditions of limited government and state nullification, ideas that are reviving today. As people see what has happened in Washington D.C. They are waking up to Lincoln’s legacy and finding it frightening.

Robert E. Lee (1807 – 1870)

The consolidation of the states into one vast republic, sure to be aggressive abroad and despotic at home, will be the certain precursor of that ruin of all that has proceeded it.” – Robert E. Lee

Luckily for the powers that be, the elite, the corporate heads, the politicians, bureaucrats, government agents, and mainstream media, they all have the club of racism and slavery to strike anyone who dares question the received propaganda, who dares bring up state nullification, the ninth and tenth amendments, or God forbid, secession!

Anyone who thinks or talks of those ideas is labeled a racist, one who wants to go back to, if not the days of slavery, at the very least, the days of Jim Crow. It’s so easy to ridicule, accuse, and denounce the proponents of these ideas. There is no need for rational intelligent discussion or debate. Why? Because it might cause people to think of other ways of doing things, to think of older ideas of freedom, tolerance, and republican constitutional government.

Now politics is divide and conquer. Keep the masses at each other’s throats while the elite, with the help of the government, loot the country. Keep them from thinking about true American traditions by calling them racist. And now I hear one bright star at CNN is calling the Confederates terrorists. Soon we will hear anybody calling for state nullification or secession a terrorists. Ron Paul supporters, libertarians, returning veterans have already been listed as potential domestic terrorists. This is just more proof, isn’t it?

Is this supposed to keep us quiet? Is this supposed to keep the masses from thinking and automatically react against us. Of course it is. But will it work? I don’t think so. The newspapers are dying. People are turning to the Internet for their news and education. The mainstream media weakens by the day and the government’s lies are becoming laughable.

There’s another reason. Many of the people who are angriest, because they know and understand what’s happening, know they aren’t racist and resent being called so. The lie is becoming obvious to everybody. The race card isn’t working anymore and the more they use it the less it works.

Should the Confederacy be condemned for slavery? Why not condemn the slave owners and those who gave it legal sanctions? Why not condemn the actual people who committed the crimes instead of paint a whole society and culture as evil, just as we should condemn those in the government for sanctioning and carrying out their crimes instead of all America.

Which direction was the Confederate South moving towards? More freedom or more government control? Slavery was dying away anyway. It wasn’t expected to last much longer as it died out in other nations.

Six hundred thousand people did not have to die to end slavery. No, but to a tyrant named Lincoln, their deaths were worth it to preserve a forced union. Deaths are always worth it to government leaders. The innocents of London, Dresden, Nagasaki, and Hiroshima were worth it to Hitler, Churchill, Roosevelt, and Truman. The lost children of Iraq were worth it Madeleine Albright.

Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche (1844 - 1900) “Everything the State says is a lie, and everything it has it has stolen.”

“A politician divides mankind into two classes: tools and enemies” ~Friedrich Wilhelm Nietsche

These people – these monsters – see your lives as worth sacrificing to their whims of national greatness. When will you wake up and throw off your chains? When will you wake up and see them for the monsters they are? You are either their tool or their enemy. How long will you submit? When will you withdraw your consent and cooperation? How much more of your wealth will you allow them to steal and dump into the bottomless pit of national debt they created!

And when you finally have reached your limit, when you have said out loud, “I will not comply, I will not submit!” don’t be surprised when they call you  a racist terrorist, but that’s all they can come up with, the idiots.
